Hi all,
I'm trying to use a stereo bluetooth headset with my FR, for better
quality sound. Bluetooth was something that worked some time ago but I
hadn't looked at it for about two months.
Anyway, the FR claims that bluetooth is on and I get the icon, but it
won't find any other devices when I scan, and nobody else can see it even
when I have "Discoverable" set.
The logcat gives this -
I/bluedroid( 840): Starting hciattach daemon
D/bluedroid( 840): Using legacy uart driver (115200 bps)
I/bluedroid( 840): Starting hcid deamon
E/BluetoothDeviceService.cpp( 840): Uninitialized native data
I/bluetooth_ScoSocket.cpp( 883): Listening SCO socket...
E/BluetoothDeviceService.cpp( 840): Uninitialized native data
E/BluetoothDeviceService.cpp( 840): Uninitialized native data
for starting bluetooth. The next two:
E/BluetoothDeviceService.cpp( 840): Uninitialized native data
E/BluetoothDeviceService.cpp( 840): Uninitialized native data
Are when I try to set the name. Once more when I make it discoverable:
E/BluetoothDeviceService.cpp( 840): Uninitialized native data
And then these when I try to scan for devices:
D/dalvikvm( 1049): GC freed 4901 objects / 287432 bytes in 115ms
D/Activity( 1049): onPrepareOptionsMenu(...) calling
addKeyboardMenuItem(...)
D/Activity( 1049): Keyboard MenuItem is already in the menu!!!
D/Activity( 1049): onPreparePanel(...) calling addKeyboardMenuItem(...)
D/Activity( 1049): Keyboard MenuItem is already in the menu!!!
E/BluetoothDeviceService.cpp( 840): Uninitialized native data
E/BluetoothDeviceService.cpp( 840): Uninitialized native data
If I wasn't at work I'd get off my butt and finally take a look at the
code. From this I'm guessing there might just be a problem with
BluetoothDeviceService.cpp line 840?
:)
David
