The other day I was looking for AndNav's source code, because I wished to fix something, and to my surprise I found a licensing mess instead. The "core" of AndNav is proprietary, no source available. The GUI is GPL3 (IIRC). I guess if someone is looking for a nice project to work on, that "core" is one.
