hmm. really odd. when i tested koolu's cupcake only my screen dimmed but the
phone kept powered.
as for the screen rotation, it ist quite unusable with michael trimarchis
images too. i tried every posible combination of the effect settings. only
when i activated the fancy rotation animations, it "rotated" faster (and the
effect is nice) but the effect takes itself time as well, so i didn't like
it after some rotations and disabled it (and the auto-rotate option).

anyone ever got the calendar working?
