Running Android on traditional PC hardware ought to be perfectly possible. However, you'll need to recompile everything for x86 rather than ARM, which means you'll need access to the source code. Since Google haven't released it yet, your choices are rather limited to either waiting, or mugging a Google developer... (This is actually something I'm rather interested in doing; Android ought to run very nicely on my eee, and be quite suitable for other slow, small PC devices.) -- ┌─── dg@cowlark.com ───── http://www.cowlark.com ───── │ "I have always wished for my computer to be as easy to use as my │ telephone; my wish has come true because I can no longer figure out │ how to use my telephone." --- Bjarne Stroustrup
