Hello, I require assistance porting the Android application stack to my shiny new Nokia N810. Unfortunately, I am new to linux--though I am familiar with java and c / c++. However, i am primarily a Microsoft developer (15+ years experience). I do not yet own a linux machine, and i'm not sure the best hardware to buy, but with just a little bit of guidance, I know I could get this working.
I would be willing to pay for a 'consultant' to help coach me through the process--i'm a real geek, and I want to do this, but I do realize I need some help. I would also be interested in possibly contracting development services from anyone with experience with any of the following (Android Java SDK / Eclipse; Java Location API; various google service api's; ajax; java mini-browser plugins). Thanks, Terry P.S. I have some affiliations with a local university (FDU), so I am hoping to find a couple linux / java geeks in the studentbody that can help. However, it's now summer and many of the faculty and students are away. I need to move forward, and this is where forward resides, so here I am asking for your assistance :) --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Internals" group.
