Here's the need - my LCD screen on my electronic device is mounted
upside-down. It runs an iMX31 chip and rotating the entire framebuffer
only results in a vertical flip with no horizontal flip.

I've found this:
http://discuz-android.blogspot.com/2008/01/change-android-screen-landscapeportrait.html

Obviously it doesn't work with r1 and git versions (hence the post).
Is it a bug that it doesn't work? I did notice that the window service
is now nr 17 and not 18 as in the example (changing it doesn't do
anything).

Any other pointers as to how to make Android draw with X+Y rotated?
