Here's the need - my LCD screen on my electronic device is mounted upside-down. It runs an iMX31 chip and rotating the entire framebuffer only results in a vertical flip with no horizontal flip.
I've found this: http://discuz-android.blogspot.com/2008/01/change-android-screen-landscapeportrait.html Obviously it doesn't work with r1 and git versions (hence the post). Is it a bug that it doesn't work? I did notice that the window service is now nr 17 and not 18 as in the example (changing it doesn't do anything).
