I don't see any anger, just bluntness.  Mathew makes a number of good points.  

Many of the Android kernel patches are not of any benefit to the larger linux 
community and perhaps more effort should have been made (be made?) to reuse and 
refine existing linux implementations for kernel features added for android and 
get them into upstream Linux.
