I have an idea for you. camera support in msm-kernel is not very completed. and userland libs are proprietary. you can complete them and make open source userland libs for everyone.
this part concerns most android-specified kernel-extend, and have some valuable jobs which google guys can't do on userland side, they can be a good research on comunications and behaviors between kernel and userland in android too.
