Hi,

I am having a PXA270 board with touchscreen and audio, interfaced
using a WM9713 Codec. I am able to make the touch screen controller
working in Linux using TSLIB and subsequently in Android too.

But my problem is regarding configuration of ALSA and enabling audio
on my board in Linux and Android. My board is having a speaker
connected to SPKL and OUT4 of Codec IC.

I tried configuring kernel with " ARM sound devices" option. ALSA was
able to detect the codec and initialize it. But how do I go ahead from
here.? How can I configure ALSA to make use of my speaker.

Anyone has any experience on that?

I have built Android with
                 HAVE_HTC_AUDIO_DRIVER := false
                 BOARD_USES_GENERIC_AUDIO := false
                 BOARD_USES_ALSA_AUDIO := true
                 BUILD_WITH_ALSA_UTILS := true

Regards,
