yes...I'll take the advice...now that I think about it more. But this is not the whole story. I want to be notified whenever and program on the device tries to communicate via bluetooth. (I dont know whether this is the best place to ask this question). I have see the AF_BLUETOOTH module and there is a bt_sock_create function. I am wondering whether this is the correct place to hook in notification code. For starters, the notification could just be another kernel module.
