I am new to android development, but competent with Linux kernels.
I am frequently encountering situations where the drivers or support I
need for some hardware are present in a newer Linux kernel. If I were
developing for another Linux platform, I would just bump to the newer
kernel.
This seems to be a more complex process with android. Is there some
information regarding issues and requirements for running android over a
newer kernel ?
