Its usually not that hard to extract a patchset from comparing an android kernel to the base kernel of the same version. These will apply pretty easily with some skill and grace. The worst of it is when mainline actually picks up one of these android ideas. Such as rtc-alarm, composite gadget, or one of the various kinds of embedded sdio support. Then the pain sets in. Maybe somebody should start hiding these things from upstream.
