well, Android is built fairly heavily upon the Linux kernel. Changing the kernel in a significant way, be it using an exokernel, or by some other significant change, is hard no matter what.
Furthermore, the fact that you can't see the massive differences required probably implies you're not experienced enough to address the massive changes needed... So, could you change the Android kernel from a typical linux one and make it more exokernel like,? Maybe. Would it still be Android?
