Hi. AFAIK yes. As of version 3.5 apparently you can. However most of the 
code is in the staging area of the kernel so you need enable it before 
compiling. Linux version 3.3 can be used too but that release lacks the 
power management code found in v 3.5. With the rest I cannot help you (I'm 
not an android dev) but hopefully some will. Cheers.
