We developed the device by using ARM processor. Our device has a RS232
port.
We are going to communicate between our device and the other device by
using RS232 port.

However, some people says that the standard Android core does not support
RS232 and only supports USB.
Really, in the Android SDK does not have the API related COMM port.
I found the article in the internet that for the support RS232 it must be
proceed the modification of android core and rebuild the core.
And then using NDK, the COMM port communication program could be releazed.
Is it right?

And, which kind of Android core version supports COMM port?
And, does the common android system mounted in iPhone and iPad supports
RS232? That is, is it true that such system has the library related RS232?

Please help me.

Thanks.
