Yeah, it was all there, I had the following problem trying to built the
application statically,
/opt/CC/bin/../arm-none-linux-gnueabi/libc/usr/lib/librt.a(timer_create.o):
In function `timer_create':
timer_create.c:(.text+0x128): undefined reference to `pthread_attr_init'
timer_create.c:(.text+0x170): undefined reference to
`pthread_attr_setdetachstate'
/opt/CC/bin/../arm-none-linux-gnueabi/libc/usr/lib/librt.a(timer_routines.o):
In function `__start_helper_thread':
timer_routines.c:(.text+0x30): undefined reference to `pthread_attr_init'
timer_routines.c:(.text+0x40): undefined reference to
`pthread_attr_setstacksize'
timer_routines.c:(.text+0xb4): undefined reference to `pthread_attr_destroy'
timer_routines.c:(.text+0xc4): undefined reference to `pthread_atfork'
But then I reversed the libraries, i.e gave the -lrt 1st and then the
-lpthread & it mysteriously disappeared !!!
And hence my binary was built properly [statically] & its working !!!

Pavan
