I think you need to be specific on your questions. (that's probably
why no one answer your post.......)

What "device" do you mean? Some existing hardware or new custom made
hardware?
What chip does it uses? this would determine if it can or can't be
done or if someone have been working on it.

I would say you are basically on your own in kernel and drivers. Codec
is problematic and we are also trying to find a way around it.
Solutions posted around seems to be around OMX hardware based decoding
only........OpenCore doesn't seems to support anything else.

We are actually building something similar to yours and our Android
port should be finishing soon........
