mhh i not sure but I think this is a normal problem , isnt it??

u can read :
"when the BIOS screen comes up, press the ‘Esc’ key to get the boot
menu. "

...so u have to boot the stick manually (with the bootmenu) altthough
u set the stick to 1. boot device?!
I think the problem is that the GRUB config will boot the 3. option
not the 1. "sysloader"...is there a way to change this at a finish
img?

PS : my problem is the samsung Q1 hasnt got a boot menu =/
