I'm trying to build a prototype Android app that would use a custom bluetooth device on cupcake. At this point I've got the device working on the console. Next step for me is to hook it up wht Android framework. I was hoping to use SensorManager mechanism for this. However, with missing sensor sources from hardware/libhardware and reading through the forum post regarding use of native calls in future release, I'm a little lost. So my question is:
What is the recommended way to implement device driver, and hooking it up with some sort of event listener and event manager, so that the Android applications can listen to them? Please advice.
