Here's my very partial understanding: -at the moment the target Android screen size remains 3 to 3.5", and support for different pixel counts is currently worked on under the assumption of different pixel densities, not different screen sizes.
-cupcake might have some support for different densities, but as far as I know that support isn't complete or tested.
