I finally have something that boots up to a console on the OLPC.
Nothing GUI yet.

A different question for others if anyone has seen this before - I
have put the firmware for the network card at /lib/firmware. However,
when the module is insmodded, I see a 'init' message that says
"Requesting firmware - usb8388.bin" - and then it fails. Where does
Android look for the firmware? Anyone know?

Regards,
Gani
