Hi All, I am facing a problem in building Android's source for emulator. Earlier I was able to build an image for emulator, make some changes in the code and add those changes in the image file etc.
Now I have updated my code base to build for HTC dream by following the info provided in: http://source.android.com/documentation/building-for-dream Now I am able to build for device only, image files under out/target/ product/generic do not get changed if I give make command. Giving . build/envsetup.sh and lunch 1 command shows that TARGET_PLATFORM is set as htc_dream Can this be the problem? How do I resolve this? I want to build for both emulator and device using the same code base. Please suggest how do I go about it..
