Even though it is not officially supported, my solution to this issue for the HTC Vogue was to run both mountd AND vold.
Vold is required for various system services, but it doesn't seem to support certain hardware on certain kernel versions. The right way is to build your kernel *without* sysfs-deprecated and sysfs-deprecated-v2, then to configure the right locations in your vold.conf On my platform, vold ignored my configurations and refused to remount it, so I used mountd too... you can pull down my initrd and examine it from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=523692 On Jun 17, 3:02 am, xro <[email protected]> wrote: > i have vold not mount... but i dont know how to set the vold.conf.... > > yes i did a vfat partition.... --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ unsubscribe: [email protected] website: http://groups.google.com/group/android-porting -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
