Hi guys I have a big problem. I'm trying to port MT to the T-Mobile Pulse aka Huawei U8220 (android 1.5). The problem I have is that all the kernels I compile just won't boot. The device boots up, but restarts just when its meant to show the "enter PIN" screen. Neither dmesg, nor bugreport or logcat show the reason for the crash. And here comes the weird thing: I uploaded my modified source and somebody else compiled it, and it worked (it boots up fine). Were using exactly the same commands, same distro (Ubuntu 9.10), same tools (mkbooimg) and same toolchain (arm-eabi-4.4.0). Why is it working when he compiles the kernel and not when I compile it? The only difference I know is that he's using java 5 while I'm using java 6 (I couldn't find java 5). Could this be the source of my problems?
