Folks, I recently started following Elvis Dowson's steps for building Android for Gumstix Overo (http://web.me.com/elvis.dowson/Download/Android/ Entries/ 2009/6/20_Port_of_android-2.6.29_kernel_to_Gumstix_Overo_Platform.html). Elvis had been kind enough to share his steps with the community.
In following his steps, however, I am running into hurdles which make me think that the steps require updating. In particular, when I run his step for creating the android image using OE-Bitbake, I have to disable circular dependency sanity checking in BB. The recipe runs happily but does not produce the promised image. Would someone be kind enough to tell me if I should be following a new/ different process.
