The contents of my /dev/snd are given below.

dev/controlC0
lrwxrwxrwx root     root              1970-01-01 00:00 pcmC0D0p -> /
dev/pcmC0D0p
lrwxrwxrwx root     root              1970-01-01 00:00 pcmC0D0c -> /
dev/pcmC0D0c

I am creating soft link from the /dev/ directory.
are these device nodes not enough??
