Sorry, its my bad - i mistook external emmc booting with onboard emmc
booting.
provided your kernel has booted, no problem with card interface.,
only filesystem start have issue, and it could be
- wrongly formatted partition ext3
- error in filesystem preparation
- wrong partition number (seems u got 32GB card with 4 partitions. where is
file system copied?)

you can cross check if root=/dev/mmcblk0p<> is properly pointing to a
partition with android init.
