Hi All, I have ported Froyo 2.2.1_r1 to Custom Hardware. I'm able to boot the hardware with File system on USB/ File System on NFS. I want to try the root file system on Flash. But our board flash size is 64MB and where as froyo File system size is around 60MB. So i want to reduce the size of system.img size. For that i want to remove some unused applications from system.img. I have tried by removing applications from ~/build/target/product/generic.mk. But hardly image size reduces. Has anyone ever tried reducing the system image size. If so please let us know how to do.
