Hi all, I've already posted this to android-internals group hope here will get my answers :)
"I'm a 100% BUT really motivated newcomer :) who would like to finally find a solid tutorial on what is the common way to solve the following situation: 1. I have a beagleboard 2. there are official Android ports for it 3. BUT I want to combine it with a Lilliput 8 Inch USB Touch Screen UM-80/C/T (http://store.mp3car.com/ Lilliput_8_Inch_USB_Touch_Screen_UM_80_C_T_p/mon-103.htm) touchscreen which has a USB for the touch input and provides linux drivers for it 4. So in my little head it looks like I need to follow the porting guide of beagleboard and when I'm at the checkout part I need somehow to merge the checked out Android source with the driver's source and then to compile it and follow the further instructions 5. I know probbably it is not so easy because I don't know all the places where I need to make changes in order to get the driver integrated 6. So at the end of the day, the same story... I need a driver porting tutorial :)) Any suggestions are welcome :) even those which are saying I'm stupid ;) " Cheers, sodjas -- unsubscribe: [email protected] website: http://groups.google.com/group/android-porting
