What is the proper use of this new Gingerbread API? I've seen the system will still suspend the device if I call this, even if never calling release_wakelock_cb(). What is the correct way to prevent the device from suspending during an ongoing periodic request, during navigation for example? Or should this be the responsibility of the app?
