I would like to test some honeycomb goodness on a proper piece of hardware. Because we all know that the emulator is exceptionally slow(for a good reason). I can't get a development tablet, because I don't happen to live in any of the regions where XOOM is sold. However I have a Pandaboard with OMAP 4430.
It would be nice that the Android team would release a ROM image for the OMAP4430(Pandaboard) or OMAP3430(Beagleboard). To test the applications on real hardware, even without any touchscreens, accelerometers and other sensors. Because the emulator is nauseating... Is Honeycomb so much tied to Tegra2 devices? Then there is the Tegra2 dev board we could use. In any case, it would be really nice that we, the app developers, could run applications at a normal speed. Even if on a barebone dev board. -- unsubscribe: [email protected] website: http://groups.google.com/group/android-porting
