Hello, I am trying to run Gingerbread on AM3517 EVM. I have download TI_Android_GingerBread_2_3_Sources.tar.gz and TI_Android_GingerBread_2_3_DevKit_1_0.tar.gz from TI's website.
I have successful done whatever is required to run android on board. I can see android home screen coming up on LCD. It has a touch screen. I am able to interact with the system through touch screen. But if I leave the system ideal for 10 minutes(I am not sure about the exact time) the screen turns white. and console shows following messages: request_suspend_state: sleep (0->3) at 289849792486 (2000-01-01 00:04:48.483276369 UTC) PM: Syncing filesystems ... done. Freezing user space processes ... (elapsed 0.02 seconds) done. Freezing remaining freezable tasks ... (elapsed 0.01 seconds) done. Suspending console(s) (use no_console_suspend to debug) If I press enter on console, android screen appears for a moment and goes away. This is some kind of power saving feature of android. It turns of the LCD after some time. Can anybody help me disabling this feature? I want LCD to run continuously.
