Hi all, Short question: Anybody knows how to turn off LPA or enable audio effects with LPA?
Long story: Some mobile platforms, like Smasung Galaxy S 2 or Snapdragon development platform, feature LPA (low power audio) hardware. This feature used by standard music player to play MP3 files without passing the audio stream through the Audio Flinger service (and this way reduce the power consumption). The audio effects of cause will not work in this case. To test this, you can play mp3 file with standard music player on Samsung Galaxy S 2 and note, that it's equalizer and bass boost have no effect on the sound! The audio effect feature of their music player was advertised in many press-releases, and just don't work for most of the time. I develop audio effects solutions and face the same problem with my application on Samsung Galaxy S 2.
