Can some one point me, how the gallery refresh works when the SD card removed from the SD card slot? The issue I am facing is as follows:
Insert and sd card -> Open the Gallery -> View the gallery contents and see that the jpeg files in SD card are seen in gallery. Now remove the SD card. The jpeg images displayed when SD card present in the slot are still displayed. Close the Gallery and re-open, still the images displayed which are present in SD card. The gallery gets cleared when the tablet is rebooted. The media scanner is running, when the SD card is mounted. When SD card un mounted, no media scanner is running. But when this scenario is tested on a reference device, there too it shows that media scanner is not running when SD card un mounted. So this doesn't look like media scanner refresh issue also.
