Here is what I thing are the targets:
Android lunches
1. full-eng ( Full Android on Emulator ) build/target/product/full.mk
2. full_x86-eng ( Full Android on x86 Emulator )
build/target/product/full_x86.mk
3. simulator ( partially emulates the original HTC /dev/eac audio
interface) probably not a good target
The sdk lunches e..g "sdk-eng" produce a sdk.zip
So from reading this I think the correct target to use is really "full-eng"
git logs of build also suggest this:
commit 8a545e04ee862f88284ea122c3ddc402419cb689
Date: Fri Oct 22 09:52:09 2010 -0700
Truly default to the full config.
It is much better than generic for emulator-based work.
