Hi guys Someone told me that if my battery drains fast, it may have something to do with the file /data/system/batterystatus.bin. I should wipe the battery status by deleting it.
I checked the aosp source code and found that the battery level displayed is just read from /sys/class/power_supply/battery/capacity. I mean it seems android just read the battery level from the linux driver. So how does android use the batterystatus.bin to calibrate the level it displays? Thanks.
