You need to write an .idc file for your device. I'm pretty sure if you examine a logcat, it will say that you're missing an <somthing>.idc file. Your job is now to make up an .idc file like this one for the nexus 4 but one that satisfies your touchscreen's characteristics. Then, after you make it, save it as the <something>.idc file that your logcat is looking for, and adb push that <something>.idc file that you've renamed to /system/usr/idc/ and reboot. It you've renamed the file appropriately, your logcat will no longer say that it's missing the <somthing>.idc file and the dot will disappear.
