You might have good luck with that if you save your app's data to the memory card. If you need the cloud for storage you could also save your app's data to a different service (Amazon cloud or Azure).
Never thought I'd say this - but Azure is pretty easy to set up as an off-device storage. Problem with that service is it's impossible to predict what your monthly bill will be. Hope that helps.
