Hi, I believe in some countries, it is mandatory to send audio notification to the remote side that the call is being recorded. How is this handled in Android? By the call/recording application or by the platform.
I don't see any support in android to tell the audio HAL whether to play the sound to UL, DL or both during the call. So is it up to the application to send a message to the network to play a notification tone to the remote side to indicate that the call is being recorded.
