I wasn't aware of any documented and endorsed ways
to install native code at all on regular end-user devices.
Breaking into the device is hopefully not the answer.

Subject: [android-security-discuss] Scanning raw memory for malware

smobilesystems.com claim to have made an on-demand virus scanner for
android/G1. From what I can gather one need to break out the root-jail
to gain access to raw memory (RAM/Flash etc).

If I wanted to make a virus scanner or similar security software
(native app), how do I get access to the raw memory? Is there a way to
get access to an appropriate API's?
