The IEEE article contains the soundtrack that may not be apparent from
the slides. We wrote the article after we gave the presentation;
however, I believe the slides list the main points in one way or
another.

February 2009) has an article on "Understanding Android Security".
This may partially answer your questions. Search for the title in
quotes in Google's search engine and you will find the IEEE Xplore
link (if you have access to that).
