This is sort of an "addendum" to the various postings people have done about HW security feature requests in Android.
That we don't get any answer is probably not [at all] because that the Android team isn't interested but more likely due to the fact that the security industry is riddled by NDAs required by operators, chip-vendors, handset makers, payment providers etc. Having been in this mess since 1998 I don't think anything useful will come out of this but don't you worry; a lot of good security SW has been written without any involvement of such parties :-) Other difficulties includes the USPTO who have a tendency of handing out patents to just about anything security-related.
