Hello, I am at my final year of computer science studies in Poland. Currently I am looking for the objective of my master thesis. I am attending at 'Computer System Security and Cryptography' seminar at my university and, therefore, the requirement is that it has to be in this field. I have participated in some open source projects development and came up with a concept of working for open source community. I asked my friend from Google if he knew any projects hosted by Google which could have some security concerns. Not surprisingly, one of his first thoughts was Android :-) I thought it would be a nice idea and, that is why I am writing to you…
Maybe there is a chance, that you have in mind some feature which could be introduced to Android, on which I could work? It may require doing some research, tests, everything… If you graduated, you probably know better what type of labour is best :-) I am really open minded to all ideas... As Android is an operating system, probably still a lot may be done (even though it's based on Linux:P) I will be extremely grateful for any response. If you need some information from me, I will answer to your all questions. Please feel free to ask here on in private. If this is a wrong list for this type of request, please correct me… Finally, if you do not see anything I could do, maybe you know open source projects which would some require more complex tasks in security area?
