Facebooks advetising method can be used to target very specific users. Malware developers have discovered how beneficial this can be and have been observed advertising malware via facebook specifically to users broswing via an Android device in a specific country. This is great for them, no more wasted ads are displayed to incompatible devices. For Android users this is a nightmare coming true.
