I have a 1st Gen Moto X running KitKat 4.4.4. I have noticed my Hangouts app running oddly (not delivering or receiving SMS) so I decided to look into the system logs. I found the BluetoothManagerService being very active, even though I don't use Bluetooth or ever enable it. In fact, I never have paired any Bluetooth devices to this phone. The message I saw that drew my attention was: "Added callback: android.bluetooth.IBluetoothManager.Callback$Stub$Proxy@422c70f8:true".
Then immediately following, "BluetoothAdapter:1120695208:getState():mservice=null. Returning state=off." What should I make of these output messages? Is my Bluetooth being triggered or Connected without my input? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Security Discussions" group.
