Seba, If you could enter this as a feature request on AndroMDA's sourceforge page that would be appreciated. When work begins on the next version of AndroMDA we can then look at the feature request list in order to help us plan the work.
Alternate script language support was almost added to AndroMDA when the NetBeans MetaDataRepository was integrated into AndroMDA. Even if we didn't support other template engines it might be nice at least to weaken AndroMDA's coupling to velocity just from an architectural point of view. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of seba Sent: Wednesday, May 28, 2003 10:22 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Andromda-devel] template vs. java Hi, I also asked that question about freemarker. So, if I were given to construct a somewhat tree somehow from the UML model and then parse it in order to generate cartdrige-specific output, how would andromda allow me to concentrate on / simplify the effort of template writing or java programming? - and I would think the support from some template language would make a difference in the good sense here ... like the one http://freemarker.org provides. thanks seba ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: ObjectStore.
