I used to use DbVisualizer too, but I found Squirrel-SQL to meet my
needs best as well as being truly open-source:

http://squirrel-sql.sf.net

If it's a somewhat close call, I'll go with open-source every time. 
But Squirrel-SQL made it a very easy choice for me.
