Hello Michael, > I found your AndroMDA project on the SourceForge.net > and I have a keen interest generally in the MDA and especially > in AndroMDA.
thanks for your offer to help which is always welcome. An open source project lives with the people who donate their time. > I hope I'm not too late. No, it is not too late, you can still join the team! Andy Soroker (email address see header) is working on a JDO cartridge implementation, using TJDO as a JDO provider. Maybe, you could pair with him but use a different, very powerful JDO implementation. It is called "intelliBO" and is made by Signsoft in Dresden, Germany. Signsoft and I agreed to collaborate on using intelliBO/JDO in AndroMDA. What I'd like to see is: How do these two implementations differ and how does that affect AndroMDA? How could we write a JDO cartridge that can be used with any provider? If you want to do sign up for this task, I'll send you a license code for intelliBO which was kindly donated by Signsoft. When you have something running, please submit it as a patch in the AndroMDA patch area at http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=73047&atid=536547 In the meantime, please... * read the AndroMDA web pages at http://www.andromda.org and http://sourceforge.net/projects/andromda * subscribe to andromda-devel and andromda-user at http://sourceforge.net/mail/?group_id=73047 * do a "cvs -z3 co andromda-all", edit build.properties and compile with "ant -f build.xml". If you have problems, please ask for help on the andromda-devel list. Thanks, good luck and welcome to the club... Matthias P.S.: You live in Germany and are interested in MDA? Maybe, you will want to come to openMDA 2003, the first MDA conference in Germany (see http://www.openmda.de). > -----Original Message----- > From: Michael Belikov [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Thursday, June 05, 2003 6:32 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: RE: JDO, UML and code generation > > > > Dear Mr. Bohlen, > > I'm not sure whether you received my mail.
