The area we will focus on next is extending the templates for Struts. There seem to be a missed opportunity here. It should be possible to generate more code from a class diagram (sorry). We also want to look at ways for representing workflow in a web app.
Another areas of development that would we will concentrate on is increasing the efficiency of the development cycle. For example, when there is more than one person working on a project someone has to 'own' the model while they make their changes. We believe we should be able to merge changes at the XMI level at least. Moreover, efficiencies can be gained by a closer integration between the code and the model. In particular it should be possible to push some code changes back into the model e.g. method signature changes.
P.S. Has anyone got a way of converting PGML to SVG. This would help us futher automate our automated documentation.

Ian Bamsey

Anybody out there doing any code generation from something other than class
models? Frankly I'm getting a little bored with the fact that all the code
generation seems to be just from classes and packages.
When I ported AndroMDA to the NetBeans MetaDataRepository I was hoping some
people would jump up and do some code generation templates from state
machines, activity sequences, and deployment models. Is anybody doing work
in that area?
I am getting a little bored with talk about the implementation of AndroMDA
:-) I'd be interested in seeing some more templates in some other areas :-)
I will have some spare time coming up very soon where I hope to do some more
work on some templates in the above areas.
