the file you have put on the site does not contain any binaries so there won't be much testing :-)
but I have put some files online myself,
- binaries
this file contains andromda.jar and andromda-struts2.jar, the former is a replacement of your existing one (I guess it will only properly work with this cartridge)
http://student.vub.ac.be/~sdaghay/andromda/andromda-struts2-src.tgz (89K) - sources
the code I typed in order to get the binaries
http://student.vub.ac.be/~sdaghay/andromda/andromda-struts2-bin.tgz (83K) - sample - THIS ONE CONTAINS THE DOCUMENTATION/README FILES
a very small sample based on the AndroMDA car rental sample, showing you what output is generated, check out the Poseidon project, it has some notes/comments that show you what to do
http://student.vub.ac.be/~sdaghay/andromda/andromda-struts2-sample.tgz (112K)
in the meantime I have done some modifications to the source/binaries (improvements), so the documentation files may be a little bit outdated, but they are accurate for 95% ... I will update them later. On the other hand, the source and binaries are up-to-date
some questions:
- what stereotype names should I use ? not to have conflicts with other cartridges (I need good names)
- what name should I give to this cartridge, struts2 is a little silly, isn't it ?

ps: the links above point to the server of my girlfriend's Unix shell account, all stuff -except these three files- have nothing to do with me ;-)))

Subject: a new struts cartridge
today I have made an early release package of an alternative struts cartridge to be used by AndroMDA, I have bundled it in a tarball for you (and the rest of the people on the mailing lists) to check out
it is greater than 40K in size so I guess it is not suited to send directly to the list.
in fact I have two releases
both bundles have documentation (draft) in plaintext, html and pdf ... highly recommended reading ;-)
- a 'thin' one, contains no libraries (struts.jar, andromda-struts2.jar, ...), 90K
this one contains the source + UML model and the generated code, as well as the build.xml I used to generate it
- a complete one, 475K
this is a snapshot of the sample's directory on my machine after I have run andromda on it
also take a look at the generated code and the UML model, that will give you a good understanding of how it works! (you can find the files in the 'out' directory)
there is still some work to be done, but I guess what I have now is already usable as a proof of concept, in fact I am going to use it in an open-source project I have been doing for some time, that will be a good test I think
I have attached the thin bundle to this mail, let me know if you want me to send you the rest
best regards, and good luck
Wouter
ps: feel free to forward this email to the mailinglists
